Hudson's at Pier 81

"Hudson’s is a huge boat docked at Pier 81 (right next to another boat called North River Lobster Company), and it sets sail for two hours at a time. You don’t have to buy a ticket to get on the boat, although you do have to reserve a table if you want to have dinner. But the food isn’t very good, so we wouldn’t suggest you do that. Instead, just have some drinks on the upper deck. If you don’t mind being stuck in one place for 120 minutes, it’s pretty pleasant. The boat sails right by the Statue of Liberty, there’s a DJ who plays music that could be worse, and, if Hudson’s didn’t feel like a giant floating prom venue, it would be one of the better boat experiences in the city." - Bryan Kim
