Cellar Dog - Review - Center City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"People are being drawn to 15th and Spruce Street at all hours, and it has nothing to do with picking up Tums from CVS. It’s because of Cellar Dog, a bar and live music venue with moody lighting, a long beer list, and a massive circular bar in the middle where you can get a well-made old fashioned. The action happens while sitting at a pew near the stage—there’s jazz every night of the week (sometimes there’s a $5 cover)—or around the pool tables in the back (games are eight bucks an hour). Slink into a front-row seat, have a tête-à-tête with a basket of wings, or retreat to a corner with friends, a few beers, and the arcade games." - Candis R. McLean
