Tonchin - Review - Juárez - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"Tonchin, the Tokyo restaurant with locations inNew YorkandLA, is adding incredible tonkotsu ramen to the city’s expanding ramen scene. The move is the spicy tan tan version, which is comforting and fiery, loaded with thin chashu slices and a perfectly runny egg. The basement-level space feels like aMad Menset gone Japanese minimalist in the middle of Reforma’s office jungle. An open kitchen lets you spy on the noodle-making process, which builds the anticipation for the incredible meal ahead. Head here to fill up on ramen and a matcha kakigori before wandering the charming, shop-filled streets ofJuárez." - Guillaume Guevara
