"Nem’s is a funky little Japanese restaurant on a corner in Williamsburg that does a lot more than just Japanese food. The all-day spot also has an extensive smoothie menu—colorful and complex, like an army of Erewhon copycats—to pair with your grilled fish lunch set, and a cocktail list, in case that lunch turns into a multi-hour lounge, and then happy hour. And if that happens, there’s the off-menu supersized Aperol spritz. It’s equivalent to around five spritzes, and comes in a real glass goblet. It will run you $75, and will briefly make you the talk of North 6th Street. Order a few snacks to soak it up, like some moist, barely-breaded karaage, or the yuzu tuna tartare with big chunks of avocado and tuna, slick with sesame oil. photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore Pause Unmute" - Willa Moore
