"Daichi Sushi & Grill doesn’t seem to care about influencers or appealing to the “city folk” of Downtown Austin. It just wants to serve well-prepared sushi, tempura, teriyaki, and other Japanese staples to its dedicated local clientele—and it succeeds. Daichi offers all of its items a la carte, but if you drop by at lunchtime, you can take advantage of their “lunch box,” which lets you choose two items from a list of 15 (including shrimp and vegetable tempura, yellowtail sashimi, pork katsu, “chef’s choice” sushi, and more). The boxes cost around $10 each, making them one of Cedar Park’s most economical and high-quality lunches." - Taylor Tobin
