"When the Blazing Chicken Shack II (the original was a food truck) opened nearly a decade ago, it beefed up Denver’s lacking soul food scene. The ladies working here are always ready to warm you up with spicy collard greens, creamy mac and cheese, crispy catfish sandwiches, and that juicy fried chicken that just might be the city’s best.
