My first kiss was in one of those alleyways in Piazza Navona. It’s the heart of the working class of Rome. Great atmosphere and great food—super mammone. Again, very Roman. [My go-to order is] amatriciana. I love red sauces more than cheesy sauces. Between cacio e pepe and amatriciana, I’d always choose amatriciana. Start with a great glass of red wine.
