Chez Potier - Épicerie gourmande

Gourmet grocery store · Vieux Montréal

"We love Chez Potier’s wide variety of precisely constructed French pastries and handmade chocolates. This specialty shop and bakery on a quiet street at the eastern end of Old Montreal is a place to keep going back to, if only for the ever-changing flavors of millefeuilles (we’ve seen lemon, raspberry, and passionfruit). There’s more than beautifully crafted sweets here, though—Chez Potier also has a carefully curated gourmet grocery selection, and stocks everything you might need for a picnic, including Portuguese sardines, pâtés, cheeses, and picture-perfect sourdough baguettes with delightfully pointy, crunchy ends. Grab a jar of their vanilla caramel with sea salt to spread on pretty much anything (or eat straight from the jar)." - Ivy Lerner-Frank
