"Midnight Oil is a late-night dim sum and cocktail bar in Downtown Long Beach that’s decked out in traditional Chinese lanterns and pottery. The decor sets the mood for pork buns, har gow, shumai, and popcorn shrimp, and although a fried rice-inspired cocktail wasn’t on our bingo card, here it is—made with Baijiu, gin, rice syrup, and served in a snake cup." - cathy park
