"For a long time, Berry Hill didn’t really have a place for people living in the neighborhood to hang out and drink. That changed when Black Abbey Brewery opened a tap room. Nearly 90% of their space is allocated for production and the entire building is open. That means you’ll get plenty of hoppy smells and the sounds of forklifts and clanging metal mixed with clinking pint glasses in their monastery-style taproom. It’s all charming as hell. Try their signature beer, a Belgian blonde ale called The Rose, and make sure you also sip the extremely crushable pub-style ale called—pause for dramatic effect—Pub Ale." - Adam Sloan
