100 Pound Clam - Review - South Lake Union - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Turn to your left: there’s a toddler throwing French fries at a tired-looking mom with puffy eyes who needs a night out. On your right is a picnic table full of programmers drinking bottles of sparkling rose. You’ve got a stellar view of Lake Union, and yes, that’s Wagon Wheel playing in the background. Welcome to The 100 Pound Clam, the frattiest family-friendly snack shack in Seattle. The menu is full of fancy beach food, and it’s actually great—like the cornmeal-battered fish with dill fries, and the sesame-marinated steak banh mi. The patio is perfect for a casual lunch or happy hour, though they’re only open from 11am to 5pm, so it’s tough to make it there unless it’s a Saturday or you decided to violently shove every document off of your desk and leave work two hours early. Just know that you’re in Amazon country, so be prepared to empty your wallet." - Aimee Rizzo
