"The pupusas coming out of Express Pupusería in the Richmond are satisfying the needs of the Avenues’ masa lovers. The move at this Salvadoran spot is to go with the three pupusa combo ($15), and take your pick from the 11 filling options. When in doubt, go revuelta and hongos con queso. A mound of rice and beans ride shotgun, making this platter a well-balanced meal in our book. Be sure to ask for curtido (it's 50 cents extra here) to pile high atop your cheesy discs.
