"When you walk into Joseph's Pizza Parlor in the Northeast, be prepared for a throwback experience that reminds us of Cheers, or the basement den at your old uncle’s house. This classic spot has worn in red booths, stained glass hanging lights, and a menu full of 17” pizzas. They get creative with pie names like The Popeye, which layers garlic oil over a bed of mozzarella, sauteed spinach, and shaved Grana Padano (and is the only pizza you should prioritize). But almost everything on the menu is below average—think super bread-y pizza dough and loaded cheesesteaks that range from so-so to imbalanced with 90% meat to cheese ratio.
