Desert Hawk - Review - Wicker Park - Chicago - The Infatuation
"A lot of bar food is eaten out of convenience or to cure the “drunchies.” But the food is the main draw at Desert Hawk in Wicker Park. And considering the team behind the menu is from the great burger pop-up Smash Jibarito, that’s no surprise. The burgers have flavorful smash patties with perfectly crispy exteriors, all sandwiched between savory tostones. The dimly lit, wooden space is small yet roomy enough for a group, and they have more space on their sidewalk patio in front." - John Ringor
