Hemelhuijs - Review - City Centre - Cape Town - The Infatuation

"Hemelhuijs could easily be considered a gallery that happens to serve very good food. Handmade ceramics and local art line the walls, and they often refresh the space seasonally with a fresh coat of paint, like blush pink for the summer or burgundy for the winter. Each dish on the menu tastes as good as it looks, like salads with ribbons of cucumbers and radishes that are as pretty as impressionist paintings, and plates of prosciutto and figs that could be straight out of a still life. Come for a fancy breakfast, or a relaxed lunch with friends." - Mary Holland
