Kick Axe Throwing Review - Gowanus - New York - The Infatuation

"If you’ve ever walked through a hardware store or watched a Hunger Games movie and thought, “I think I’d like to throw an axe,” then you should be aware of Kick Axe Throwing in Gowanus. Once you pay your $35 and sign a waiver, you and your group get 70 minutes to throw axes at targets in a small indoor range. There’s an employee at every station who will teach you how to throw, keep score, and make sure you're safe while you play various games. You can also drink beer when you aren’t holding an axe. So if you’re looking for a different sort of place to celebrate a birthday, try this spot. Just be sure to make a reservation for your group online. photo credit: Alex Staniloff" - Bryan Kim
