"True to its name, Tasting Counter is a counter where people taste food. But describing it like that is sort of like describing the Tooth Fairy as someone who sneaks into childrens’ bedrooms at night - it’s technically true, but it kind of misses the point (and, wow, is all of a sudden really creepy). The food you’ll be tasting here costs over $200 per person, including wine pairings, but you’ll get your money’s worth with fine dining renditions of everything from langoustine to braised squab.
