Clubhouse Sandos & Suds - Review - Lower East Side - New York - The Infatuation

"If there's one thing that New Yorkers are really, really good at, it's utilizing every single inch of their space. The same can be said for Clubhouse Sandos & Subs, which occupies the front counter area of the old Scarr’s Pizza, while the back room is full of people eating uni at Sushi Oku. The hot sandwiches are finished in the old Scarr's pizza oven at approximately 600°F, so you'll never have to wait more than four minutes for your meal, which is a good thing to remember the next time you find yourself on the Lower East Side and ravenous. Clubhouse is open through the day, and all six sandwiches are $15 or less, along with a bag of chips. We like the Cubby with gochujang brisket and white cheddar, but the Lukey has a mountainous stack of toasted mortadella, so you may as well get two and plan for leftovers. photo credit: Jeremy Liebman" - Willa Moore
