"With Anor in Lincoln Park, Chicago’s small (but mighty) collection of Central Asian restaurants continues to grow. And this casual Uzbek spot is a noteworthy addition. Their starters are fantastic, with dishes like fried eggplant salad drizzled with sweet chili sauce or their peppery beef manty. Make sure to follow up with some lagman or kabobs, and finish up with some honey cake for dessert. Anor has lots of open seating and fairly large servings, so showing up with a group and sharing a bunch of dishes is a great strategy (though everyone will probably want their own slice of honeycake)." - John Ringor
