"Franco’s Latin Table doesn’t stand out from the rest of the Peruvian restaurants in the city, but it’s a great option when you’re on West Portal Ave. and looking for solid ceviche, causas, and large portions. While Peruvian classics like lomo saltado and aji de gallina are tasty, the best entree at this quiet sit-down is the adobo de chancho that can be easily split between two people. Most pieces of the pork shoulder will fall apart from a slight breeze coming through the front door, while some bites can be tough, but it all goes down easily with the velvety refried beans. Tables are easy to get on weekdays, but call ahead for weekend dinners." - ricky rodriguez, julia chen 1, patrick wong
