Horse With No Name - Review - East Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Horse With No Name has no website, no social media accounts, and, once you actually locate it, a sign on the door that says, “No TikToks, No Assholes.” The result is a narrow East Village wine bar with high ceilings and brick walls that's refreshingly low-key, possibly because everyone who enters is a tiny bit scared to be the asshole. Wine by the glass is $14 and whatever they're pouring tonight, but they also have a full bottle list, and a bucket of five Narragansetts (a “Bucket For The Buds”) for $20. Come for a pre- or post-dinner drink, or to read a book at the bar, or to tell a secret in a space that feels like the East Village’s best-kept secret that we are actively making less of a secret (we’re sorry). If you need a bite to go with your gamay, slather some sourdough in anchovy butter, or dip some potato chips in a mix of mayo and ketchup. photo credit: Camelia De Jesus" - Willa Moore
