"Don’t be fooled by the tile floors and teriyaki lunch specials. Suzuki Shokudo knows sushi. The fish at this Long Island City spot (which also does ramen and teriyaki) is superb, and the owner himself works the omakase counter. He’s extremely generous with extras, and you’ll feel very well taken care of, especially for this price. Their 11-course omakase is $70, with pieces that include toro, salmon, snapper, and uni." - neha talreja, bryan kim, kenny yang, hannah albertine, will hartman
