"Sit-down What Bumbuu lacks in formality, it makes up for in layered Caribbean flavours. This caff-cum-Caribbean restaurant in Harlesden is a slow, solo operation that shows what it’s all about on the plate. It’s worth it, though. The jerk chicken is of the saucy variety—cleavered into chunks and slathered in a fruity, briefly incandescent sauce of gently cooked scotch bonnets. It doesn’t have the char of the grill, but it has plenty of flavour—and the same goes for the curry goat." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley
