"It’s natural to crave Italian food when you’re fresh off a gondola ride, even if the river is inside a mall. Buddy V’s at The Grand Canal Shoppes is the obvious choice, even if it’s more Hoboken than Bologna. This more casual spot has large windows that face the Strip, so you can watch vacationers and performers go by as you dig into huge portions of the Cake Boss star’s Jersey-Italian recipes—think chicken parm and veal Milanese. The huge beef-veal-and-pork meatballs, smothered in marinara, are big enough to share with four people, and the lasagna loaded with Italian sausage and ground beef is worth coming back for.
