"This Polanco corner spot, located away from the main drags, is by the Sarde team and perfect for a casual lunch full of amazing tacos al carbon. They make their tortillas right on-site using Maizajo heirloom masa. Start with the chicharrón de queso, which is super thin and crispy and gets leveled up flavor-wise when you add guacamole. Then, move on to the house staple Taco Berni. It’s got melted cheese on a flour tortilla, filled with juicy skirt steak, chicharrón, and avocado. Other dishes that make this place shine: a vegan winner in the grilled baby nopal taco, and a flan de la casa with a cheesecake-like texture, drizzled with cajeta sauce—it’s absolutely divine and actually might be our favorite dish here." - Guillaume Guevara
