"At Nhà Minh in Ridgewood, you can sit down with your laptop, bang out a few hours of work fueled by excellent Vietnamese iced coffee and pandan snickerdoodles, and leave with a painting from the wall (they’re all made by local artists). We prefer these to the rice bowls, which need a big squirt of tomato-fish sauce vinaigrette, or the breakfast sandwich, with eggs that are a bit too salty with Maggi and fish sauce. Nhà Minh is open nearly all day, which is useful if you live in the area. They also regularly host events, like mahjong parties, with neighboring concert hall Trans-Pecos. Food Rundown Classic Bánh Mì A well-constructed, crusty sandwich with pickled carrots and daikon, and herbs. If you’re here around lunchtime, it’s worth an order.
