"L&M in Lincoln Square is the type of corner store we all wish was our neighborhood corner store. And while we like their selection of artisanal chocolates and cured meats, the sandwiches are the main draw. Their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, like sausage egg and cheese between fluffy biscuits or housemade english muffins loaded with porchetta and preserved lemon aioli. And for the lunch or dinner sandwich eaters, their roast beef with giardiniera and horseradish spread or Italian are always excellent. L&M has a few tables, but when the weather decides to cooperate, we like taking our handheld meal to Welles Park across the street." - John Ringor
