"For a chill atmosphere, cheap drinks, and cool breezes, hit up Floridaman, a weekend-only rooftop bar above Breaker Breaker on the Eastside Beltline. If you don’t get here right when they open, be prepared to hear “at capacity” and wait up to an hour. But once you're upstairs, welcomed by lush plants, fake parakeets, and wicker lighting fixtures, the relaxed bar will feel worth the wait. Some of the Breaker Breaker menu is available but the delicious pressed Cuban sandwich, packed with ham, chicken, salami, and swiss, is unique to upstairs. Sip on a mango and lime boozy slushie, or score with the white wine—you get the entire Bota Box (that’s roughly three glasses) for just 12 bucks. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair Food Rundown photo credit: Amy Sinclair The Floridaman The pressed cubano is good enough to make a trip here just for this sandwich—packed with sliced ham, chicken, salami, and swiss. photo credit: Amy Sinclair Boozie Slushie (Seasonal) The boozie slushie comes in flavors like mango-lime and is heavy on the booze. It’s refreshing on swampy summer days." - Jacinta Howard
