"Late-night placesare few and far between in SF, and ones where you can get a great ice cream sundae are even rarer. But Legends, a dessert-focused cafe, by the same team behind late-night burger spotSam’sright next door, is doing its part to make sure ice cream cravings don’t have a curfew. The move here is the Dubai Chocolate Sundae. A big plastic cup is layered with strawberries, milk chocolate and pistachio sauces, and crispy shredded phyllo, and topped with a bulb of vanilla ice cream and another drizzle of pistachio sauce. Excavating the perfect bite with a little bit of everything requires finesse, but it’s well worth the messy effort. The shakes also deserve some attention—The Bourdain (Anthony Bourdain was a fan of Sam’s burgers) tastes like a Biscoff cookie." - Patrick Wong
