"There are a lot of great spots for wings in the city, especially when you’re looking for dry-fried, stuffed, and garlic-y BBQ sauce-coated ones. But when you’re searching for some of the best buffalo wings in the city that can also melt your face off, head to D&N Hot Wings in SoMa. An order of The Hot Mama—which comes in sets of 6, 12, or 18—is coated in a bright orange sauce and each wing maintains its crunch, even as you pause to drink water, dab your forehead, and reconsider your spice tolerance. There’s also solid thin-cut fries, and a serviceable buffalo ranch fried chicken sandwich, but those spicy wings will make you a D&N regular.
