Ammoora - Review - Federal Hill - Baltimore - The Infatuation

"Ammoora, the Syrian restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton Residences on the Inner Harbor, is the most elegant dinner spot in Baltimore. Though the front parlor is a warmly lit, intimate date night affair, the main room shines with its high ceilings, pearl-inlaid side tables, and plush chairs amidst richly patterned floors reminiscent of a Moroccan riad. The large Middle Eastern menu, which changes seasonally, is very vegetarian-friendly, with masterclass spreads like a stunningly pink and earthy beet mutabal. Our favorite hot mezze are the beyti sujuk rolls, featuring spicy beef wrapped up in a crispy lavash dough topped with labneh, and the savory haloumi cigars that outclass most mozzarella sticks we’ve tried." - Michele Berry
