"An afternoon pedaling around on the swan boats is what we’d consider a bucket list LA activity. Now, there’s a proper way to fuel up before or after cruising on the lake. Piknik is a tiny, quick-service cafe from The Lonely Oyster people inside the Echo Park boathouse. All ordering is done via kiosk, and the menu involves food designed for sunny park days: fruit salads, build-your-own cheese boxes, lemon crinkle cookies, and our favorite section, smorrebrod (open-faced rye sandwiches topped with fishy things like gravlax, roe, and pickled herring).
