"This Venice beer garden/sausage emporium has always been a good option for meeting up with people you don’t see often. The environment is casual, but always a bit of a party, and if and when the conversation does dry up, you can bring up the fact that you’re both eating rattlesnake. Their menu is filled with different sausages ranging from traditional bratwurst to chicken apple, but we recommend sticking to the ones you can’t find in the Trader Joe’s frozen aisle. As for the aforementioned rattlesnake, which comes with rabbit and jalapeño peppers, it’s spicy, savory, and easily our favorite thing on the menu. We also like the buffalo with cherries and mint and the pleasantly herbaceous pheasant. Be sure to get a few orders of their thick Belgian fries as well." - Brant Cox
