"ViceVersa’s soundtrack is peppy enough to keep your energy levels high, the Negronis will keep conversation flowing, and the buzzing servers in cool clothes will ensure your glass doesn’t stay empty for longer than .06 seconds. The least sexy thing about this Italian apertivo bar is the hotel lobby you have to traverse to get here. Thankfully, things only go up from there. If you’re seeing a concert or game anywhere Downtown, this is where you want to start the night. And only order the mortadella pizza if it’s true love. It’s the only way you’ll survive a fight for the last slice. Reservations for ViceVersa’s (tiny) dining room are available on Resy 30 days in advance. It’s not hard to find a weekday reservation at a decent hour. For a Saturday night table, just book a week or so in advance. But if you suffer from chronic spontaneity and want to walk in, the bar is all first come, first served. You’ll definitely have to wait for a table. But, you can order drinks from ViceVersa and enjoy them in the hotel lobby while you wait. It's top-notch people watching." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
