"Nostalgia alone must be why people queue up at Bagel Boss in Burbank, because it isn’t because of the food. This chain has dozens of locations across Long Island, and even a few in Florida, but don't expect much from their branch on the West Coast. The bagels here are drive-thru level at most: dry, small, and borderline stale. Slap on as much schmear as you want, or order them as a breakfast sandwich with overcooked eggs and bacon, but there’s little saving these chewy sadness circles. The good news is LA holds its own as a bagel town these days, which means you have far better options than Long Island's leftovers." - Brant Cox
