Best North Dumpling Shop

Dumpling restaurant · Flushing

"Best North Dumpling Shop is inside of a tiny shopping center on Flushing’s Main Street, and if you’re not paying attention, you’re likely to miss it. But find the right door, walk halfway down the hallway, and look for a big yellow sign. This is where the dumplings are assembled. Place your order at the stall next door, where the dumplings are actually cooked. They sell twelve types of dumplings here, but the mutton-filled ones are our favorite. They’re extremely juicy, and have a strong but pleasant gamey flavor. If that’s not your thing, get the pork and cabbage or pork and fennel instead. There are a few tables across the hall from the stall where you can sit, eat, and bask in the atmosphere." - Carina Finn
