"There’s seemingly a Korean fried chicken spot on almost every block in Koreatown, but Rice Chicken is the only one that offers a fully gluten-free version. The rice flour batter used at Rice is light and crisp, even if doesn’t quite deliver the shatter-on-impact exterior you’d expect from double-fried chicken. Though mainly a takeout operation, the dining room is surprisingly large, and looks more like a brightly lit daycare than a traditional chimaek pub, with plastic chairs and walls covered in doodles. Though it’s not our first choice of KFC in K-town, Rice is a great option if you’re gluten-free or want to chase your chicken with a deep-fried tornado potato on a stick." - Cathy Park
