"With all of the wonderful pizzas and crudos on this menu, ViceVersa’s two salads have some stiff competition. But you should order both. If you’ve ever been tempted to shred a bunch of cheese directly into your mouth, then the caesar is for you. But our favorite is the fennel salad. It’ll burrow itself into the crannies of your porous little soul when it hits the table. It’s covered in piave vecchio cheese, with a dressing that’s delightfully heavy on pickling juice. It does a great job of preparing your stomach for all of the dough you’re about to shovel down. Reservations for ViceVersa’s (tiny) dining room are available on Resy 30 days in advance. It’s not hard to find a weekday reservation at a decent hour. For a Saturday night table, just book a week or so in advance. But if you suffer from chronic spontaneity and want to walk in, the bar is all first come, first served. You’ll definitely have to wait for a table.
