Jigga Jerk Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"Editor's note: Jigga Jerk Joint is currently closed and in the process of relocating. Check their for the latest info. Eating grilled meat in a parking lot brings us back to the simpler days of Wynwood—days when there were actual parking lots that could fit a truck towing a smoker. Jigga Jerk Joint, located on the eastern outskirts of Wynwood, is a throwback to that era. The jerk chicken spot consists of a couple chefs tending to chicken and pork underneath a pop-up tent in a parking lot perfumed by smoke and scotch bonnet. The jerk chicken is really good—go with that over pork. Their hours are limited, but they’re open very late Friday and Saturday for any post-bar-hopping needs. They also have a scotch bonnet hot sauce so spicy it might make you hallucinate. " - Ryan Pfeffer
