So we checked out this new location in the East Village on one of the first nights it was open. The menu of Detroit-style pies here is mostly the same, and the Big Matt burger and spicy pepperoni pizza - two of our favorite things at the original - were both good, though the pizza was a little sauce-heavy. The best dish we had was the only new menu addition, an Indian-inspired white pizza topped with cauliflower and served with some really good tamarind sauce on the side. If you go, try to make a reservation. The Verdict: An exciting addition to the East Village.
