"Stanley’s is a casual all-day spot in Sherman Oaks that’s popular with families and Hollywood types talking shop over lunch. It also has a menu that’s fully stuck in the early 2000s: turkey burgers, chinese chicken salads, and pizzas topped with sun-dried tomatoes (when’s the last time you thought about those?). But the menu’s endearing lack of edge and innovative spirit is actually very pleasant. Stanley’s does classic lunch options well, including a beautiful grilled artichoke appetizer with chipotle aioli, a thick and juicy kobe beef burger, and, yes, the very popular chinese chicken salad—a near-perfect version with tangy sesame dressing." - Sylvio Martins
