"This small cafe on a busy stretch of 16th Avenue in White Center serves well-made espresso among giant tropical plants and shelves of fancy cider for sale. The whole place smells like earthy Olympia espresso beans, and baristas specialize in flavored lattes that have a pleasant subtlety. It’s hard to go wrong with any of them, but the lavender blossom and cardamom versions go down especially easy. They pair well with one of Moonshot's buttery quiches made onsite. And though there are only a handful of seats, the place is rarely crowded—you can sip and peer out at the world from behind a frond like a jungle cat lying in wait." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente
