Day Trip N. 02 Ojai

Take the back way home! It's friggin Sunday and the drive is gonna be too long anyways. Stop here for a soda/shake/fries/water and also to sit under the trees for a bit before fully leaving . Maybe recharge your crystals or whatever?

Bougie but look it's nice and good food and another great patio. Why would you ever go to Ojai and stay inside??

Great way to burn off a buzz walking around.

I like these guys a lot, solid beer and usually the whole place is open and feels like one big patio. The food is aight but prob worth skipping and just getting buzzed.

The sci-fi section is probably my favorite for low-cost, pulpy as hell stories. I have spent hundreds of dollars on architecture books as well. Ideally, you finish your shake or second coffee while reading something in the sun.

The Lucuma Puma is an all-time shake and the juices are pressed fresh. Owned by a husband and wife (he farms she cooks) growing lots of the produce with their own land and a host of crunchy apprentices. Great people and you can fully roll down the windows of your car without issue so your groceries don't bake. Excellent patio seating.

Sunday Morning only but truly great. In early summer theres the pixie season and there are a few great small farms. The Rainbow market next door has the rest of your groceries if you don't want to stop at whole foods on the way home.

look these guys are great and right in downtown and why would you go anywher eelse? Open early as well. Seen people ride horses here on multiple occasions as well so just something to consider.

These guys are dicks in the exact right way. In the we're-so-good-at-this-we-deserve-to-be-dicks kinda way. Also a few of them are sincerely nice and no matter what they are experts. Reserve an Ebike the minute you know you're going to Ojai (ideally that's within hours of leaving for Ojai) and pick them up as early as possible. These guys hate ebikes but also ride them lol therefore they have the best ebikes you can rent and service them beautifully. Get the full day rental in case you just want to ride around before leaving.

The right price point/service between Ojai Valley Inn and an airbnb or something. Also you already have a car you don't need to be fully walking distance from downtown and you're in Ojai for this viiiibe.
