"An intimate, chef’s table counter experience—at the One-Star London outpost from L’Enclume chef Simon Rogan—is executed here with absolute aplomb. Once the last of our fellow diners had arrived, we were shown to a dining room dominated by a simply gorgeous slate counter; all diners (never more than 12) are seated here, with stylishly minimal décor and spot-on subtle lighting that made the evening feel intimate and relaxing. The tasting menu felt personable, theatrical and downright delicious, beginning with a light, golden doughnut generously filled with lightly smoked Devonshire eel, topped with wafer-thin house-cured lardo and finished with Petrossian caviar; my favourite snack was the truffle pudding, a L’Enclume-inspired croissant-like pastry glazed with sap and crowned with a generous helping of Corra Linn cheese. The final canapé was a cleansing one: intense sungold tomato water with a kick of lovage and a delicate, leaf-shaped biscuit—a special dining experience that lingers in the memory." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team
