Tan

"‘Tan’ comes from the city of Kyotango in Kyoto Prefecture. Naturally, the food hails from the Tango region too: rice grown by employees where the restaurant was founded; vegetables from the region’s farmers. Service begins with breakfast loaded with vegetables; lunch consists of bowls of rice with toppings and noodle dishes; evening fare is à la carte. Each dish is simple yet prepared and plated creatively. The view of the willows along the Shirakawa River seen from the modern interior is wonderfully elegant." - Michelin Inspector
