"As a former New Yorker, when I was strolling in Larchmont (also a chill area to visit), I passed the window of a Levain in LA (which originated in NYC) and a few things happened. I screamed. Duh. Then I pressed my face on the glass out of disbelief and joy. The patrons inside, luckily, were very understanding. If you haven’t, you must. To simply call this a cookie is blasphemous.
