"Housed in a striking red contemporary structure, it’s easy to spot this "Smokehouse" from a distance. Inside, you’ll find an equally stylish décor—all clean lines and a modern farmhouse-chic vibe. Outside, families gravitate to the picnic tables, where children busy themselves with wood blocks while the adults nosh. This casual, laid-back setting is also a big draw for hikers and dog-lovers (bowls of water are even laid out for the pups).Aesthetic charms aside, their barbecue is downright delicious; the meat platters made colorful with pickles, preserved pink onions, and Hawaiian rolls. Melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork and brisket find perfect harmony with such creative, smoky sauces as the “Tangy n' Sweet Pineapple Mustard” or “Spiced Carolina Cider.”" - Michelin Inspector
