"I find the Cathedral of Junk fascinating: started in 1988 by Vince Hannemann, it’s an ever-evolving backyard ‘cathedral’ made from over 60 tons of repurposed junk (old bikes, appliances, hubcaps, TVs, etc.); admission is free though a $5 USD donation is encouraged, and it’s not open every day so call ahead." - Matthew Kepnes
