This palace on the Fontanka embankment was known in XVIII century as a place where brothers Turgenev lived and where famous poetry meetings of "Arsamas" society took place. But this days there is a creative project "Galitsin loft", which is, perhaps,the largest scale loft project in St. Petersburg. It saved amazing interior design of that time, with its fireplaces, huge windows and 5 meter high ceiling. The entire cluster is made up of 5 buildings and a large yard. There you can in a cozy Georgian restaurant or have a breakfast in a coffee place «Civil», eat the most delicious curd pancakes in town with the best view on the river and circus.
