On the Grid : Carrot Top Pastries

"A family-owned bakery, Carrot Top Pastries has been in Inwood since 1979. Fun Fact: that's only about a decade after the actor, Scott Thompson, aka, 'Carrot Top' was born. With a name like that, they remain very on brand, specializing in carrot cake and carrot muffins. With seating available and an afternoon special of discounted baked goods, it is the perfect place to people-watch while having a cup of coffee and enjoying a delicious treat. Go in and check out the picture of Harrison Ford and a few other famous people eating at the bakery. They are friendly, uptown-centric, community-centric, and also sell their baked goods to prisons upstate." - Jeanne Henry
